Ceramic Cat Nurse - Ceramic Nurse Collectable

We have just received from a lawyer in Uruquay this unique fiqurine, one of a collection of professionals. Made out of ceramic, the nurse is a cat--with whiskers(the cat has a tail painted on the backside which can't be seen from this photo). We are told this is an original piece from the collection from Artesania Rinconada. The collection was started in 1972 by Spanish-Uruguayan twins J & J Carbajales. Go on line and you will see some of this line is offered in the US, but at higher prices.

The piece is hand painted and stands 4 3/4". Apparently there was a line of fiqurines introduced in 1994 for the professions and this is the nurse.
