Doctor Book Stein from Germany - Ceramic Doctor Book Stein

This ceramic stein, made in Germany, features old books and has a pewter caduceus medallion on the front. The lid also is pewter and it bears an owl (traditional symbol for wisdom) on the top. The stein measures 7 3/4" and holds a half liter. This new stein is in the style of the steins made in Germany at the turn of the century for the various professions. For Counsel over the years has been lucky, from time to time, to locate and offer for sale these originals--but, at about 10 times this price.
