Framed Woman's Declaration of Independence - This important document belongs on every woman's wall. Need a gift for a woman lawyer? This is it. The original was drafted by Elizabeth Cady Stanton (1815-1902) and friends, at the first Woman's Rights Convention in Seneca Falls, New York, July 19, 1848. Stanton, having seen the unjust treatment of women under the law in the office of her father, Judge Cady, vowed, as a young woman, to help change the law. Reproduced here on high quality parchment-like paper, this credo truly embodies the substance of the Women's Rights Movement. Framed comes with faux black marble mat, gold metal frame, and all accessories for hanging. 16 1/4" X 19 1/2".
