Good Morning Judge 1919 Flyer - Give to Your Judge

Wanted to start by saying "Good Morning Judge to you" with this 1919 flyer--and, then say.....

This unique piece is an eight panel advertising herald (flyer) for the LIONEL MONCKTON and HOWARD TALBOT musical comedy "GOOD MORNING, JUDGE!" at the Shubert Theatre in Boston beginning December 1st, 1919. (The production opened February 6th, 1919 at New York's Shubert Theatre and ran for 140 performances).

Handbills and heralds were distributed or inserted into playbills to help generate ticket sales for upcoming events and productions. This musical starred eminent comedian GEORGE HASSELL and featured the Original Broadway Cast, "Mostly Charming Girls" (The cast included CHARLES KING and MOLLIE KING, but their names are not mentioned in the herald). CREDITS: Book based on "The Magistrate" by ARTHUR WING PINERO; Music by LIONEL MONCKTON and HOWARD TALBOT; Lyrics by ADRIAN ROSS and PERCY GREENBANK; Directed by WYBERT STAMFORD; Produced by the Messrs. SHUBERT. The eight panel herald measures 18 X 6 1/4 inches when unfolded and includes nine photos of scenes from the production. It is in excellent condition.
