Original 1930's Esquire Petty Girl - My Lawyer Wants Me to Change the Charge from Desertion to Insanity!!! We have found an original George Petty foldout from a 1930's Esquire magazine. Petty essentially created the pin up girl. His drawings of attractive females were VERY revealing for the time. But, with most in the US bogged down by the depression, Esquire realized their value and printed these drawings as full size on quality paper, and used them as inserts. To see more about Petty and Esquire see: http://www.bpib.com/illustrat/petty.htm. This original insert measures 18.5" x 14" and shows a redhead in a red suit with the caption "My lawyer wants me to change the charge from desertion to insanity". Good condition. No damage, only original crease, no tears. We have mounted it in a poster frame for viewing and safe keeping. You will want to frame this in a better frame with matting to fit your office decor.
